Masquerade Night marks Micronet’s Anniversary
18th Jun 2005

MICRONET International College celebrated its 16 th Anniversary on June 18 with a Masquerade Nite as its party theme.

The function hall was filled with colourful balloons and decorations. Students gathered around the board games and joined brain twister games as the staff served finger food and sandwiches. The Operations Manager of Micronet International College, Ms. Sharon Chin, said Masquerade Nite aimed to build a close bond between the staff and the students. The students were entertained by The Eye Test and the Kiss me games, which got the most attention because they were funny and tricky.

In The Eye Test, students had to guess the edited pictures of the staff, to test how good they were in recognising people who are always around them.

During dinner, each of the staff did the actionary game, where performers picked a question and acted and made the students guess movie title themes. Students were entertained and their smiles stretched from ear to ear because of the wacky and funny actions or movements by the staff.

Students were tested to see how cooperative they were with each other by playing the Dessert or fruit game and the best pair game. The fruit game, something similar to the statue dance. Female participants only followed instructions in dancing the fruit dance.

The balloon hunt is similar to the treasure hunt. The difference is that students need to grab a balloon that contains a coloured paper inside, with a prize to be redeemed at the booth.
